Note to Editors:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has scheduled the following upcoming meetings on Millstone Station in Waterford, Conn.:

On Tuesday, March 3, at 9:00 a.m., the NRC's Special Projects Office staff will meet with Northeast Utilities officials and representatives of Sargent & Lundy, and Parsons Power Group to discuss the status of the Independent Corrective Action Verification Program at Millstone Units 2 & 3. The meeting is open to the public for observation and will be held in the Leland F. Sillin Training Center at the Millstone site.

On March 3 at 1:00 p.m., officials from the NRC, NU and Little Harbor Consultants will meet to discuss the Millstone Employee Concerns Program, the Safety Conscious Work Environment. Little Harbor will present its findings and recommendations. This meeting, at the Training Center, is open to the public for observation only.

On Wednesday, March 4, at 9:00 a.m., the Special Projects Office staff will meet with NU to discuss the status of restart activities at Millstone. The meeting will be held at the Training Center. It is open to the public for observation.

On Wednesday evening, March 4, the NRC staff will meet with the public to provide an update on the status of the Millstone recovery efforts. The meeting, which begins at 7:00 p.m., will be held at the East Lyme Community Center.
